The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex two time unified title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
